Jaipur is the pink city and is a place one revisits time and again. For those traveling with me again we make different visits and for new people we will include the Palace of the Winds and Amber Palace going up if you wish by elephant.
After two we days transfer to the Shekawati area of Rajasthan where we will stay in a Palace where a large stable of mewar horses are kept.
Shekawati is a wonderful area often likened to an open air picture gallery. All the Havelies or noblemans homes are a series of courts opening one upon the other and on every external wall are painted frescoes of every imaginable image. These range from elephants, camels, portraits, flowers, trains, soldiers and other innumerable subjects.
A wonderful colourful area to visit.
