Day 1: 10th Feb International flight.
Day 2: 11th Feb Arrive Trivandrum met and taken to Kollam The older name is Quillon. Where we stay at the Residency Morning at leisure. After lunch work from our environs. Over the next few days the timetable may be altered around, but we should be able to take in all the programs.
Day 3: 12th Feb In the AM we take our own boat and our lunch with us and draw the Chinese fishing nets or just relax and enjoy the scenery.
Day 4: 13th Feb Visit to see the boats being made from jackwood, and if possibly coir being plied.
Day 5: 14th Feb After breakfast transfer to Palm Lagoon. work from our environs.
Day 6: 15th Feb Take our breakfast with us to work from a local fishing village.
Day 7: 16th Feb Optional day. This will be discussed among us and a review of work. We may decide to take a small backwater trip, seeing the local houses and fishermen who live by the waterways, and have a fresh coconut picked for us.
Day 8: 17th Feb We have a full day taking the boat from Quillon to Alleppy. We take lunch en route, a very leisurely day on the waterways.
Day 9: 18th Feb We take a morning boat to Kottyam through the waterways. Continue up the Periyer wild life park. We must arrive before 6 PM as they close the park. Our hotel is within the park.
Day 10: 19th Feb Full day in park to enjoy the reserve and the Wild life.
Day 11: 20th Feb Travel to Kodaikanal the most beautiful hill station in the South.
Days 12/13: 21/22nd Feb Relax and enjoy the hill station. There are many beautiful walks.
Day 14: 23rd Feb Travel to Madurai. This is the most important complex of Dravidian temples in India.
Day 15/16: 24/25 Feb Enjoy the temples and town in this magical place.
Day 17: 26th Feb Travel to Munnar. Wonderful Journey. Seeing the tea plantations.
Day 18: 27th Feb On the days we are here we will work from the tea plantations or in the bazaar. We stay in an old planters house, within the plantation.
Day 19: 28th Feb Morning journey down to Cochin. In the Afternoon we visit the Jewish Synagogue open between 3-5 PM. Hopefully we will see the Kathakali dancers in the evening.
Day 20: 29th Feb Optional visit to Mandacherry Palace. Or work from the Chinese fishing nets.
Day 21: 1st March Connect to International flight the bazaar.
